Just a couple of things that came in, and now I have something to work on the side with as well as the comic! I pre-ordered these things months ago, and am I'm glad the wait is over.
Master Grade Wing Zero, and Robot Damashii Mercurius & Vayeate to go right along with it. Now the wait is on for
Master Grade Gundam X to be released this January!

Online stores are some of the best ways to go to pick up stuff right as they come out.
HobbyLink Japan is the place I go to when I want to pre-order something before it comes out. They are localized in Japan itself, so the day it hits the shelves out there, they send it right out to me. The main hobby store in my area uses them for some of their stock as well so if my local store stocks it, I'd be getting it around the same time anyway. Very, very reliable people, but the tradeoff is you gotta wait about a couple weeks depending on what shipping type you use, and where you're located.
The Mercurius/Vayeate are actually a Tamashii Nations online webstore item that I had to use different people to get a hold of.

well me particularly i use Gundam Planet and they are pretty reliable with quite the selection of kits of all kinds they carry character kits too besides almost all types of gundam series kits
this site also includes LBX Saint Seya Rockman/Megaman Tiger n Bunny and more.
but I usually like walking into my retailer store and picking up 1st hand what I want
(not to fond of the extra shipping handling fees) just cash n carry o_o

Looks nice! Awesome box art as usual! :D
Are u just assembling them or paintbrush all parts + coating?
I also bought some older model kits during my HK-trip. Wasn't easy to get all of them unharmed (love boxart!) and stored in my baggage. Model kits aren't heavy but require large space

There should be more boxes (MG, PG, RG) behind them. Need time to assemble them.

I don't have an airbrushing kit (although I really should have one by now) so the part might stay the original molded colors right now. I could go to my local store and pick up a couple of spray cans just to get the bulk of the panels painted. But, whatever I do, I will try to get into most all of the little details by hand.
A bootleg PG Strike Freedom? Wtf. Was the packaging reprinted, or did they try to replicate the plastic?
The last ones that I finished putting together were the MG Banshee Norn, and HGUC Zssa. Before that, I actually have quite a lot from over the years. I have many of them out on display on my shelves actually. I don't know though what the next model I'm planning to get is though.

It is a completely remolded PG Strike Freedom. The plastic feels a tiny bit cheap, I had some issues while building it (the torso joint snapped so I had to glue a few pieces together) but other than that it is really good! Everything works, it's completely stable and next to my Bandai PG Astray Red Frame (which is also amazing!) it doesn't even look like a bootleg.
I bought it essentially because I was curious about the quality and I wanted to build another Perfect Grade kit. But the Strike Freedom was the only one that interested me and I didn't feel like paying 450€ for a model kit. The bootled only cost me about 150€.
I have quite a few of them as well, I have one huge shelf behind me that is completely full of models.
The next kit I really want is the MG Sazabi Ver.Ka. I don't have a Sazabi yet and that kit seems to be really cool. But I haven't built a lot of kits during the last 12 months because of my job, I've been to busy. I also picked up photography as a hobby which honestly interestes me a lot more right now :P
But my favorite model is probably still the MG Ex-S Gundam. It's so big, on it's base it's as tall as the PG Red Frame^^

I tend to paint parts as I go along so building usually takes somewhere around a week or so to get done depending on the grade. Scratch-building and conversion jobs are quite a bit different though. It takes a lot of time, patience, and pre-planning to actually make parts from scratch, and then you have to make sure the parts you took all that time making aren't off in some way.
