I realized the plot was JUNK when I realized that having the story mutate into a generic Zombie-city plot that turned out to be virtual reality to see how a human operates thinking he's been a Flygon for all his life, when in reality it was just 30 minutes in a computer.

I'm not a good psychological thriller plot comer-upper.
