My first real experience with furry art was stumbling across Shayla The Pink Mouse, and looking back now i can see she probably had a major influence on the design of my fursona (Them face markings) and my view of the fandom.

It kinda showed me that, "Hey look porn!" doesnt stand up against "Hey look, character development!"
That porn ("yiff" if you want to use that word) is always going to be there in the background, but its up to the viewer to care more about the actual art, and the artist to be good enough to make the viewer care.
In a weird way it was one of the first things that showed me the symbiotic relationship between Creator and Viewer and the general nature of people.


I didnt line this like i usually did, so it looks awfully jerky, but i like the way it turned out.
I might draw Shayla again.
