They're Force FX lightsabers from Master Replicas. My step-dad has Vader's saber (the red one). The "blade" has a row of LEDs that light up in sequence when you turn it on. You also get all of the light saber sounds when you power it up and swing it around. Truly awesome for $80 to $100, depending on where you buy it.
