Guys guys omg omg it only took me a week but i got a shiny pokemon! Omg i was chaining all week took over 40 consecutive chains!

I swear I have to be the only player in the history of these games that has played every single pokemon game, currently working on X, and has not found and or hatched one shiny Pokemon and it is starting to drive me insane

Have you tried using the pokeradar? Thats how i got this pancham. There are loads of good tutorials on youtube to help you catch one, it takes loads of patience but it was well worth it! :D

If it makes you feel better, I tried chaining by fishing. Didn't look at the screen before I ran, and it was a shiny Horsea :C

back in gold/silver i bagged a shiny pidgey.
... and ho-oh. o_o
i was tying to catch it with an ultra ball as to not use my only master ball, restarting my game every time i failed, and one time it was shiny and i was like 'fuck it! *masterball*

I have not had a shiny that wasnt from special event or that everyone gets since Ruby and that one was a shiny Hariyama and never got another wild shiny since.....
