This is a reference of my OC Aurora. She is by definition, a shiny Pokemon. But she is more likely to be considered a "Shadow" Pokemon because of her coloration. Growing up, others were often fearful or hateful of Aurora because of her coloration. This prejudice against her growing up made her avoid others and become shy. But this shyness causes her to become lonely as well.

Aurora has a twin brother, Nightshade. They were separated when they were still young Riolu. But they were reunited several years later. Like Aurora, Nightshade had changed since when they were younger. But where Nightshade became more aggressive and hateful, Aurora became more shy and lonely.

Aurora chose to accept Alec Willey as her friend when Alec was the first to show her some kindness. It wasn't an immediate choice, and her life of being afraid of others prevented her from accepting Alec as her trainer.
