Odin is one of the youngest kittens born to our feral colony. A stray dog took his mother away from him and his brother, Vili, but the other females have adopted them. Odin has trouble with watery eyes, so we have to clean them every day, sometimes twice a day. Odin has discovered that people are good at petting kittens and he gets lots of love when he gets his eyes cleaned, and he becomes putty in our hands. This is him in one of his melted poses

Such a shame their mother was taken, I know how that goes. I actually take care of 3 feral brothers, I found their mother dead on the side of the road, and even now that the ferals are older, they still seem like kittens. Good luck with them, and if you need any help, feel free to drop me a note. I've been an at-home vet for a few years, fixed up stray cats if they were injured, even treated a snake bite one of my other cats had.
We have a full feral colony, we are working on getting them all fixed, the main issue is that we have taken in as many of them as we can, we just have to love on the rest outdoors. A few of our ferals tamed themselves, including Odin's older half brother (same mom) Trouble. Trouble does everything he can to protect his brother, but knows that we aren't going to hurt him ^_^
I've taken care of more than just my main 3 cats, all of the stray cats in my area come to my porch when they need help. They don't stick in a colony since they are always battling over territory. The only ferals that stay together are the feral brothers. Those 3 are pretty tame, but they don't like other humans, they only let me touch them. Our neighborhood sucks though, so it's a good thing they hardly run off. All of my cats have to stay outdoors because my mom is allergic and stuff, but moms letting me keep the eldest one inside for a bit until he finishes healing. Either way, if you need help with something, I'm the crazy cat lady to call.
I will definitely keep you in mind ^_^ We have been fairly lucky, a few of the males have run off, but for the most part they stay in the colony. I live in Arizona, so we have to worry about coyotes, javalinas (wild boars) and the occasional mountain lion (not really far enough from the city, but there is always the chance).
