The arching sky is calling
Spacemen back to their trade
"All hands! Stand by! Free falling!"
As the lights below us fade.
Out ride the sons of Terra
Far drives the thundering jet
Out leaps a race of Earthmen
Out far and onward yet
We pray for one last landing
On the world that gave us birth
Let us rest our eyes on the fleecy skies
And the cool green hills of Earth.
This kind of makes me think back to two things, that one cutscene near the end of Halo 4, where Master Chief was all mopy (I think, it's hard to gauge emotion through a helmet) and looking out into space onboard the Infinity, And the opening cutscene of Mass Effect. Both fairly enjoyable games, all in all. And this is a very interesting Image.
