Just an in-progress picture of the back half of a dragon paw. The markings have already been painted in, reinforcement added in certain areas with cotton fibers, and this is the first layer of the base coat. I like doing that first layer with the molds open so I can make sure of good coverage - no bubbles trapped in odd corners and such. After this, the molds and strapped together and I do pours to add thickness.
