Vs. Abrao The Spark 5
OK, about the design I used for Abrao, personally, I didn't like his original design, I know others whom I am watching use the style that Mokuu uses (kinda Jak and Daxter type of animated style), but... out of 2 of the fights he was in (one being this one), both of them were the most half assed things I had ever seen.
NO EFFORT DESPITE WHAT HE ARGUES! Here's the thing about comics people: You cannot rush them, you can be quick with comic drawings and such and do like 10 pages a day! BUT YOU CANNOT RUSH A COMIC! To me on void... it's like saying "Oh... this guy is an easy win, I'll just do a shit job on this comic." He did this shit to me, and to DrawDan. I should be fucking pissed off just for that.
Anywho, the character... I didn't like the design, he made him out to be a jungle boy, and he looked like a kid who was raised in the boondocks and would just go out and catch lizards. The only reason he actually changed the design was so that he didn't look like he had shit on his hands. Now, I've been on void for 3 years, and I'm pretty sick of always having to go with other people's designs. Mokuu's was sloppy, rarely had consistent anatomy, and just awful in my eyes.
So what did I do? I took some artistic liberties, just like I did with TL bot, but TL's design however was fan fucking tastic, but all I did was give that guy eyebrows and a CD port... but I took the old design, and decided to make something that I liked. Granted I don't like the character. Course, being the big baby he is, despite him saying he wasn't upset with the design, saying it looked like something out of DA's 16 year old DBZ inspired retard fanboys makes me think otherwise.
Ah, who the fuck cares anyway. My comic anyway, if I wanted to make it perfect so that nobody gets fucked over in battle I would of done a co-op fight, and I'm sick of those. Gotta have some risk when competing.
Anyway, after I finished the fight... despite a couple of commission orders coming in... I kinda lost the inspiration to draw, I do ask that these folks bare with me, there is a paypal account that you can send money too, but I'd also like to apologize to those who had to snail mail me art only to have it get lost. I feel like I should give art out regardless all of a sudden, and now I'm owing like... 5 or 6 people art now... And now... void's Speed Death Tournament is on the horizon.
Just gotta put pencil to the paper now...

I think the comic overall was pretty neat. You got a very cool style, not too realistic but also not too cartoony (even through I'm quite a fan of cartoony styles) It also isn't too Anime-ish (what seems to be the case in most art nowadays) and the perspetive shots you use are very cool and effective. I actually never saw something like this in a comic done to this extend and it works very well.
I don't really get this whole "void"-Thing through, I guess... I always assumed Art was something you do out of motivation and inspiration, but you make it sound more like it's a sport ^^ I'm not going to critizise you for that, but it strikes me a little odd :P
Also, can you drop me a note when you may have space for a comission from me? Now that you have a Paypal Account, it's about time :D
