Epic.
I love the character concept, and the unfocused background is an awesome touch. As already mention, it looks like a screenshot from a movie.
You could seriously make a fantastic living as a comic book artist, you know that right? Not Marvel or DC, I mean one of the indies. Or make your own. Hell I'd chip in as an investor.

Reminds me of the scene in "The Punisher" when he tackles the Russian guy downstairs and he's all bruised and bloody with a huge stab wound in his chest, and he gets up after falling down the stairs and says "I'm fine" and then the camera pans to the Russian guy who's neck is broken and he says "he's not." and passes out.

Posstively brilliant!!! I agree with Disarine when she says this looks like an awesome movie capture. As much as I giggled over Coop and the bartender's expressions I find Tom's just gets me the most. He's completely covered in wounds and blood but his face and manner just seems like.... I don't know some polite scholar just in for a kip for a break from the books. It's... absolutely adorable!
This reminds me of a story a friend of mine once told me.
He used to work as a bartender and one day this guy walks in, all beat up with his head hanging open, just sits down and very matter of factly orders a shot. Turns out he had just gotten into an accident on his motorcycle, and even though he was beat to hell he still wanted his drink.
My friend later made a movie based on this guy, called Bullets, Blood, and a Fist Full of Ca$h, who was by then made the star.

The WTF looks and the calm, collected ordering by the seriously effed up patron. Just awesome!

*Tom came into the bar with a bit of an unsteady walk, most of the patrons pay him no heed.. at least, those near the door and on the far ends of the place, he chuckles and bit and shakes his head as he approaches the bar and sits heavily on a stool, feeling the myriad of bruises and cuts in his body sting and smart a bit, some quite a bit, and the others.. well, quite some.
The bartender and Cooper cut their talk short to look with big a eyes and shocked expressions on their faces at the burly bloodied white tiger, all cut up, bruised and bandaged. The bartender had stopped cleaning the glass.
Tom pushed up his glasses with a bandaged finger and smiles affably at the bartender, a bit of blood dripping into the wooden surface of the bar unnoticed by anyone, "Whiskey please, lots of it.. single malt, one ice cube.." the bartender just nodded dumbfounded and went to get the liquor.*

It makes me wish i was there sitting on a stool looking at him too.
And as someone pointed out in other post above, he looks more like a scholar, which makes the whole scene better, because if he did not have the sword at his back you'd think he just came out from a mugging.
