you know I was interested in studying their biology because of how they were able to handle radiation, I figured they had some kind of magic ionization proof protein. turns out though, when you completely dehydrate yourself, you are able to withstand much more radiation since ionizing radiation splits water molecules and chemically your body begins to dissolve itself as H+ and -OH molecules run rampant.
