All the plot moving, key and major characters in my little 300+ page novel released through POD publishers back in 2003...
It was clean, watered down, I hated it since I had to dumb the story down considerably for Cafepress.com due to their TOS in regards to adult situations, sex and language.
UPDATE:
To those who bought the first "test run" sappy version of the book, the next copy is everything I want the story to be- in all its freaky, strange, sexually weird, violent and silly tale.
Don't worry, Rasheeda still gets it on with Gage
And Keith, and Salen, and Durukai and...well she a active little chicken-dog!
The book isn't called "WhandirLUST" for nothing.

In my dreams it has; seriously! I could only hope the book I've been working on (since 1995!) will get it out there =D
Now I think about it, Hollywood seems to be afraid of having anthro-anything geared towards a mature grown up crowd. Weird. How they know if it won't sell if no one is willing to try it out?
And thanks!

It's politics...they assume people being partly animals is a cartoonish level that won't substain people's interests. That is why you have to make it as serious as Star Strack, or as serious as 300 the movie cause they look into how real and attracting it can be to the population.
I admire your sheer will power, it will sell as long as you put heart into it and don't make it all just hate and stupid lol but I have faith in u.
I'll root for yah!

If I recall this took like six panels and patched them all together using Paintshop Pro. It was to say the least, *interesting* because the characters in the back aren't even fully drawn (upper half was drawn).
Since this pic was drawn I've changed many of the characters. Yep, have to do a updated version of this =<

haha, revamping chars has its ups and downs that's for sure.
and wow, neat o.o I did a similar thing on paper ..drew each lil digimon thing seperately, used that light table thing to see about sizes, then got a fresh sheet and drew them all together.. wow, I must say xD and that was only 4 digimans o.o
old pic too... probably cramped somewhere in my dA >.> <.< >.>
do take your time on the next one! no rush <3

Writing is easier for me to than a comic or drawing. I can get my character's views, ideas, speech mannerisms etc quicker this way than just a billion 'situation' images of art.
Its hard to explain what the core plot is to my story. I've been working on this one story since '95 and it has three complete re-works. Currently its completely different with new characters to drive the story along. In short this drawing above is WAY outdated.
Basically its a love story with looooooooooooots of crap going on forming a three part saga =)
Right now I am in need of a editor, I know I have mixed up the time/days in some scenes.

I know what you mean! I'm finishing the first books in two different romance series I'm working on. The worst part is finishing the fine details in the end. There is this one scene in the scifi romance I've re-written at leat five differen times, and the other one, the anthropomorphic romance... I've written eight different first books with eight different settings, all with the same characters.... bleah.....
Well, I agree with what you say, too. I'm no Rembrant or anything, art isn't my forte. I prefer writting because I can do that, get into the character's mind. I'm actually really close to all my characters, even the evil ones.
I really want to read it, since action/romances (or romaction) are like the best! Where are you selling it?

Lulu.com, its free =D
I already have the ISBN numbers ready (you can get it through there as well) and copyrighted the previous 'dead' editions of said story.
The story I'm doing is what *I* would like to see in a book. Fun, not too serious, no boundaries held back, few human characters and old cars.
And like you I am VERY close to my characters too, likewise even the evil ones =D
What appears as random 'furry' faces (cursed cartoonish drawing style I have) to many people, my creations means the world to me. Three of which 'grew' up with me since middle school O.o
Getting into a character's mind makes them far more interesting imo. It gives them a purpose and not just "My name is XXXX and like pie, hey I'm a dragon-wolf-lemur guy and that's it!" type thing.

Yea, I know, that's why I'm not too into RA Salvatore.
I have couple of characters like that, too. I go to bed talking out conversations between my characters, and even try to eat and drink they way they would, sometimes. I'm crazy. Very Crazy.
And it's a good attitude to have about writting! I've read too many books that were either trying to play things safe or be edgy in 'popoular' ways, completely draining away the point of the book in the first place. And if you want, I could note or email you the first 12 pages of something I'm working on. I already have been bugging poor ChimeraSynx about it, too.
It's fun meeting people who write, as well. Do you have weird little idiosyncrasies too? Anyway, I'll read this gladly, and tell you what I think. Thanks for sharing!

No, that doesn't sound crazy at all =)
Only thing I try to imitate of my characters is their speech mannerisms or how they react to situations (one in particular is a potty mouth). Beyond this its kept to myself and my dreams (another great source of inspirations!). Whenever I ask for another person's perspective (as in ask them what would they do in such and so situation) I'll use their response too. Minute I tell them *what's* in it their first response is "Oh its a children's book!"
If by children they mean the many who get eaten in some scenes, then no >8-)
Far as reading for you, sure, I'll bite =) Send me a PM.
Mine start off a bit slow, pretty normal random story then it gets plain weird ^.^

Weird is good! I've read a few books that made me literally say WTF at the end. Childrens book? Yea, I wish ppl wouldn't always assume anthro=fairytale. What would FA be without mature work? XD
Thanks, btw. I'll note you and try to find your book on Lulu. It's quite elusive!

Its a romance/sci-fi/comedy story really, can't have romance without some good love making (or f*cking in one case). And I didn't want it overtly serious or fwap material, but it is NOT for general audiences.
Testicle ripping, fox pumping, lemur loving does not a children's book make!

Same here, I made a ton of points ^.^
Largely toying at life politics and my bad relationships.
I just hope my ex-boyfriends don't pick up a copy, they WILL know who/what represent who O.O;
And people I know, to 'flesh' out the characters more. The story itself came from dreams though.
