Surprised stuff like this doesn't happen more often. I just bought back an old NES recently just to get my bubble bobble back.

my old nintendo died. but because i STILL have some of the games, the ROMs i have of those games are legal! YAYY technicalities and loopholes!

Is it doing the blinking light, or just plain dead? If you still have it it might be fixable. Hee, yeah. I dunno if it's a pre midlife crisis, but I had to get the system back. They aren't cheap these days, though.

no i'm sure it was dead. i forget who borrowed it and plugged it in during a lightening storm and played. So when the lightening struck nearby... one dead power supply. now. yes I know that power supplies can be replaced and I do have the skills necessary to do so.

I might still see about getting one later... for now i have my Wii and ROMs.
