Very good story! A good mix of comic book styles, and story narrative. Love the range of classic comic origin scenes (Lone Wolf is a particular interesting character. Reminds me of an older villian I had created for rps, but I like her). Also, nice sowing the seeds for future stories. Mystic Cat isn't going to take this lying down...

Thanks Odin, I always try to keep the story interesting. This story also gives readers an inside look into the Bureau of Superheroes and why most superfurs in Colmaton (like Lady Liberty, Dame Freedom, Brown Lotus, etc) won't join the organization. For a feline, Mystic Cat can be a REAL bitch. There will be future stories with more tension between her and Ji-Lin.

Okay, gushing aside, this is a good fic. It shows us how the registered supers work and why there are so many in Comalton that won't sign up, not to mention we really get a chance to see Crimson Cur shine as well as the introduction of a brand spanking new (and interesting!) super. Kudos on that!

I was genuinely surprised that Big Ben turned out to be a traitor, jerkass that he was I had not seen it coming; good job on surprising me! And Mystic Cat... man, I know I said in a prior review "at least she's on the side of angels" but MAN, she is the singularly most dislikable good gal on the face of the planet. I knew she was gonna have a not so likable personality, but man I had not expected this level of bitchiness!

So all in all, glad to see this writing, and it be a good story.

Thanks, smegog! I can't wait till my semester ends at school and I can dedidcate more time to writing. I plan on wriiting more stories with TRAIN's characters in them as well as more Crimson Cur stories. I already have a story with TRAIN's newest superfur Danger Woman in the works as well as a follow-up story to this one involving Crimson Cur, Lone Wolf and two other retired superfurs from the "Salesman" story, Multi-Mutt and Giant Girl. That story will have a few surprises as well.
