The content isn't quite children's book material, but the setup and artwork is generally much like a children's book. I'm actually making a series of not-children's books where it starts off quite happy and innocent and turns out horrible. One of the books is about two mice that decide to make their otherwise boring life more exciting and enter a hot air balloon race. They end up visiting all sorts of places in the world but crash into a canyon and are trapped there for several weeks. Eventually one gives in and kills and eats the other and as he's finishing up a group finally comes to help them.
