Resuming my presentation of sketches acquired at "PalmCon 2013" in West Palm Beach - as part of my latest 'sweeps month' (November, 2013) - here is an image of the two main characters from a new independent title, "Oops The Comic Adventure"...
I had the opportunity to meet the co-creators of "Oops.." - writer Cyndi Foster and artist Jeramy Hobbs - who explained the premise of their comic work. It's the story of a young boy ('Oops') living on his wits in the streets of a medieval city, and the only friend he's got is a rat (named 'Plague') who he'd rescued from a feral cat. A magic medallion (with a gryphon on it) he'd possessed for a very long time was responsible for giving 'Plague' the ability to speak (and also made him grow as tall as the boy).
The story has already been collected into two issues of the comic book - which I'd bought, and had autographed by Foster & Hobbs. For an additional price, I had Hobbs render a small drawing of the two characters in my "BBS" (big black sketchbook) - which I would like to share with you!
