I just got a WiFi Max which allows me to play LAN-only PSP games online over the interwebs. And that prompted me to get a major Monster Hunter fan artist to do me some art commissions.
Monster Hunter is a game where you and a couple of your friends take on missions to bring down huge wyverns and other monstrous beasts. Once defeated, you carve them up and use their scales and teeth and bits to fashion new and better armor. It has almost no story/plot, and it's the most fun you'll have with a couple of friends (or strangers) on the PSP. The newest version sold 1.6 million copies in Japan in it's first 2 weeks of release.

It sounds like my PS2 Monster Hunter version is missing a lot of fun customization. I am not capable of getting any S sets at all. D: I usually stick to my boring Monoblos set for the Anti-Wind bonus, because while I can dodge out of the way of a lot of stuff even with bad resistances, the moments you lose when a big monster gusts the air can be painful.
That and since I never went online I can't get any of the coolest stuff... How did they handle weapon swings/stabs/shots on PSP by the way? On PS2 using the analog stick to direct swings was very fun. *Has no knowledge of PSP control layout*

Circle and Triangle are the 2 attack keys. R is still run/block. The PSP version can be played online still if you use a WiFi Max USB router and the program XLink Kai. The PS2 version had it's server taken down last year. So the PSP is the only way to get online with it now.
Oh...you know...it's a manly thing. No hard feelings, right? You toast a town or 2, we beat the crap out of a few of you to feel better. It's a win-win system!

I usually go for the wife first, though she gets a bit cranky and prone to charging. No wonder you guys are always so angry.
Only crazy people go into giant fields full of grass! Any Hunter knows you're just asking to get mauled by an Ioprey that way! Raptors+open grass fields+alone= D: Plus playing ping-pong the Hunter doesn't sound very fun!

Ever since MHF2, I've been a Gun-Lance person. But I also love me my Hammers. The Longsword is nice too on occasion.

Use a PSP WiFi Max. you can get them in the Nintendo DS section of your electronics store. (The DS and PSP versions are identical)
