Okay it's a purse.
More or less anyways. X3
I prefer "messenger bag" personally. :P
Anyway this little endeavor into something typically classified as feminine (or at least androgynous) went a lot better than my little foray into fingernail polish. owo
I didn't feel uncomfortable at all with this thing. Matter of fact I checked myself out in window reflections a couple times 'cuz of it. :B
The image is probably to small to read the text on the buttons; the red one says "I'm very receptive to compliments today", the white one has a 50's style waitress saying "God knows when you don't tip", and the blue one says "BEING NICE TO PEOPLE IS A REALLY GOOD IDEA". :3
Why you gotta be flippin' mah pichas sideways, iphone camera? ;w;

My purse is *covered* in pins and buttons... I'm always on the lookout for more to add. I also intend to cover the whole strap with different styles of skull buttons ^-^* your purse looks like the kind that can take iron-on patches, too, which opens up more decorative possibilities ~
I never thought of bag-wearing in terms of masculine/feminine because I was always a wallet person, and still am actually. Something like 75% of the time when I leave the house, I only bring my wallet and phone with me. I only bring my purse when I'm gone from the house for a long time--haha, it mostly just has notebooks, pens, and random-ass crap in it. I like it because I can fit a whole book in there. Also, little instruments like a tin whistle or my ocarina. I never have, like, tissues or gum or whatever it is normal purse-wearing folks carry around alla time.
My sister made it for me out of an old pair of jeans so it's super stylin'.

I just carry some random stuff in there...gum, a pair of earbuds, a little tiny umbrella, a pair of sunglasses, a little Bible, my 3DS and all the games I have for it...I think that's about it. It's small enough to where it doesn't get in the way of my arms like a satchel does, and it's not heavy at all, so I usually carry it around now unless I'm going to work or just going to class and then straight back home or something.
