This is honestly how I feel about Wargaming, and World of Tanks.
"Oh, the IS-3 gets a magic frontal plate that can't be penned by ANYTHING at it's own tier that it didn't have in real life? Okay, hang on a sec..." *takes time machine* "MS-1, you will grow up to be the bane of all tier 6, 7, 8, and most tier 9 tanks." "Really Mr. Fox? That's amazing!" "And that is why I have come to KILL YOU BEFORE YOU CAN GROW UP TO MAKE US ALL MISERABLE!" " ;_; Whay Mr. fox!? Whaaaaaaay?!"
MAUS TO THE FACE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Submersible and art © me.
And this is why I don't draw my own art, I am not particularly talented...

It's more of an issue about how may times my god damn German tanks have been nerfed for the sake of "realism" but the IS-3 got a magically over-sloped frontal plate that it DIDN'T HAVE IN REAL LIFE because, um, why? It was already the best performing tier 8 heavy, MASSIVELY powerful gun, quick, good armor, one of the few Russian heavies with accuracy, there was NO good reason to not only buff it, but to make it unrealistic at that.
Russian Dev Bias, it's a thing, it's always been a thing, anyone who claims otherwise is blind, Russian, or brainwashed.

Russian Tanks in general are OP.. but hit them from the side or the back and they crumble easily. Is also one of the reasons I always carry premium ammo with me. Use that on the tanks I know normal shells can't penetrate. I have both the Tiger and the IS.. and I honestly prefer the Tiger.. No idea about the Tier 8's.. only got the Löwe as a credit and XP farming machine so can't really say what the difference is there.
Honestly the Tiger, much as I love it, is just bad. Even in real life it's two greatest strengths were that it was crewed by the best tankers in the world, and it was rarely put against anything that was even close to a match for it, since until 1944 very few things WERE a match for it.
I also only carry gold rounds in my tier 10s, and even then I only carry 4 or 5 rounds, except in the Maus, where I carry 11, and the FV215b 183, which I ONLY load gold in.

Hah...Just got done with a session of WOT and I know what you mean about the IS series and Russian bias. I play Russian and German heavies and TD's. Russians definitely have better slopes and survivability. But the accuracy and reload is poor. My stupid VK seems to catch fire at the least provocation too. So does the Toaster and my JPz IV.
It would be interesting to see the Russians with more realistic tanks. Everyone would just hop into panthers and tigers instead if the only Russian guns were the 76mm or the 57mm. Maybe 85's on TD's only?
Oh almost forgot, nice art btw.

You sir, have just made my night.
But yeah, IRL MOST Russian tanks were standardized with one of 3 gun calibers, the 57mm, the 85mm, and the 122mm, although the SU-152 and ISU-152 used the short barrel 152mm guns almost everything else used one of the other 3 calibers, and their smaller tanks had a wild mix of calibers but none would have been effective against german armor of the time. Additionally all of those guns struggled to damage German armor, not so much because they couldn't pen it (excluding the King Tiger), but because Russian commanders usually stayed "buttoned up" inside the tank, and they had problems spotting and directing fire at enemy tanks, while Germans kept their hatches open as much as possible, and the Tiger in particular was famous for it's precise and sensitive aiming system, the fact that only the most skilled crews manned Tigers, and Russian troops were largely conscripts certainly worked in the favor of Germany, as far as accuracy was concerned.
Anyways, my history rant for the week

You're welcome!
Not to mention the general inferior state of Soviet optics compared to Zeiss...
Although when the KV series came out it was a monster. Or the T-34 for that matter. I don't think the typical Pz III would stand a chance against a T-34 with a good crew.
Did I mention my JPz IV got lit up from a rear shot from an A-20 today? Didn't think the motor was in the rear last I checked.
