This is a picture of CD's characters Gila Monster and his poodle girlfriend Dr. Gwen Smith (a.k.a. Timestopper) drawn by  Mavrik. Gila dresses like Fonzie and usually refers to Gwen as "Princess". They are a rather mis-mathced couple with a shared past.

Gila Monster, a vigilante good guy in his own right, was once captured by a evil villian who Dr. Smith worked for. While pretending to be unconscious, he overheard Dr. Smith lamenting about her job with the villain and wishing she could be free from him and put her abilities to use on the side of good. After she helps him to escape, the villain turns on Gwen. Gila Monster pounces on him, taking several gunshots in his massive chest to save her life. Of course, Gila Monster's thick skin kept the bullets from harming him, but Gwen felt so gratiful for his willingness to protect her that she instantly fell in love with him, in spite of his ugliness.

Ever since, the two have been underground crimefighters, Dr. Smith wears her Timestopper costume (she had the ability to "freeze" time for up to a minute) while Gila has no special outfit (his face is SO ugly, few can remember what he looks like or give an accurate description of him). Gila Monster is naturally super strong with thick bullet stopping skin and is also immune to all poisonous gases (since he is poisonous himself). Gila is not exactly all that bright so he is also immune to any mind control (he has little mind to control). Gila Monster loves to fight, especially using the sawed off 2 x 4 he always carries with him. Needless to say, Dr. Smith is the real "brains" of the operation.
