my first traditionaly painted drum done over this summer(2013)
acrylics on thin rawhide with a matching drumstick made from scratch(also a first for me!)
materials for the drumstick-leather from deer and moose,black tape,senew from horse and acrylic paints.
main turtle with lightning bolts(a sign of power)seaweed and starfish and water bubbles.
the drum stick has a little matching turtle and starfish as well.
all in all over 20 hours of painting and a little clean up in photoshop elements.
keeping up with the traditions of my native roots!hope you all enjoy!

Beautifully done! I hope you show your work on some other galleries besides this one, as I see that this particular work of art has somehow only garnered ten views, which makes me just shake my head when considering the vast amount of crappy porn that gets all kinds of attention...
i have my stuff up on DeviantART.com under the same moniker.most of my art is on the other site where i do get far more views!!!!!
