More practice with Prismacolor pencils. A gift for 
soundhound :3 The polka-dots kinda fail (white gel pen, next time i'll opt to just scrape away the color x.x) and i really am not sure about the fishing pole.. but whatever :P The blue around her was done with a prismacolor 'artstick'.. next time i'll use chalk pastel.. not as soft as i'd hoped it would turn out. Anyway, I hope she likes it!

Lovely! I love how muted and soft the color choices are, it really makes this seem friendly and gives it a nice glow. I don't mind the rougher texture of the blue so much, it contrasts nicely with how smooth you've rendered everything else. Those little bursts of grass are fantastic, I love the gradient shading you've pulled off with them, and yet how textured and directional they still seem based solely on the linework - they don't look very dissimilar from how your do your fur, but that really worked well! And lastly, massive love for how realistic you draw you animal muzzles.
