Still needs lots of reshaping- the eyes definitely need to be further apart~

This will be my 2nd ever fursuit head (I am not counting my quadsuit head(though that was my first ever head) as the make of them is entirely different) and as you can see there is still lots to do~
It was originally going to have a moving jaw but I decided against that~

I believe he was asking how difficult is it to make the suit look cool but still be comfortable at the same time. What kind of compromises do you have to make when it comes down to the suits function over the suits looks?
Also this is looking good! The last panel with the overlay really helps visualize the final result, it still needs some changes but it's not far off.

Not easy at all!
Fantastic makers such as
donthugcacti and
isqueakypinky have taken many many years to learn and master their craft
For me it is a fun way to explore 3D artwork, and I love faux fur- I am by no means an expert on fursuits xD

Thanks! I've updated this now~ http://www.furaffinity.net/view/12145881
Basically, once you have your finished foam base, you have to make a duct tape pattern. That involves taping up the head in tape ad drawing the markings on and where you want your seams. You cut the tape off the head and use the pieces you get as pattern pieces (being mindful of fur direction). Cut out the fur pieces using an x-acto knife and sew them together, then glue the fur onto the head~
If you meant a pattern for building the actual foam base, there is a great one here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O73FgEWG2Jk
I'm sorry if that didn't make all that much sense, but a lot of fantastic information on fursuit making is just over here: http://fursuit.livejournal.com/
You'll be able to find more information about duct tape patterns over there~
I hope your head making goes well! Lemme know if you have any other questions~
