This is my new cat, Pewter. I adopted him from the Winnipeg Humane Society yesterday for their free cat day. I got there a little bit late because I was in classes in the morning so I got there around noon. By then there were only a few cats left. Pewter was the first cat that I saw. I walked into the room and I saw this huge, black cat with big green eyes staring at me. I walked over to him and put my finger in between the bars on his cage. He immediately started rubbing his face against the bars and my finger. I knew right then that I had to take Pewter home with me. I filled out the paperwork and then took Pewter home. The lady that helped me get him in the carrier was very nice. Once he was in the carrier he wasn't too happy though. He tried clawing his way out. Once I got him in the car, though, he calmed down. Then we made the long drive back to my parents' house where I'm staying for the weekend. (Pewter is curled up beside me right now watching me type) He got super comfortable here really fast. He is the cuddliest cat I have ever met. And to top it off he doesn't shed a whole lot either. He's practically the perfect cat. I love the little guy to death already. He's so sweet. I got him because of my anxiety and how bad it's been lately and I'm super glad I went and got him because he's the best little pal I could ask for :3
