Finally, finally, finally - lineart for the Massive Rave Commission is DONE*!!!!! :D Here is the current WIP (with sketchy BG stuff faded out so the lines are plenty visible).
*Well, okay, "done" does not mean completely totally finished. What I mean is that the poses and final "ink" outlines are in place, which means I am about to start on the fun part: COLOR!
But just so you know, I may still make minor changes or refinements to things like lineweight, hand placements, markings, and so on. Nothing's truly final until everything, including the color, is finished. :)
FAQ!
Here are answers to some of the common questions I've been asked:
Q: When do you expect the whole thing to be finished?
A: At this point, I am aiming for before the end of the year!
Q: What are the final dimensions of the original going to be?
A: Current size is around 6050x3600 - this may still change slightly, but this is very close to final.
Q: I asked for XYZ glowies/clothes, but I don't see them yet!?
A: Fear not! Only some of the glowy stuff and rave-y clothing has been drawn on the lineart layer (mostly when I needed it to shape a hand pose around a glowstick!). The "actual" glow goes on its own separate layer. I have extensive notes about each character's preferences, and will make sure everyone gets what they asked for before it's done. :)
Q: What are those pixelly blurry spots?
A: Those slots are gifts for people, and won't be revealed until the very end.
