During the summer, I created a concept for the Concorde 2.0, the Concorde's successor. This is the very first drawing I did of it.

several reasons:
1. when the first few were produced, oil started to get pricier, which drove away customers (major airlines). This was because of the fact that the airliner was not fuel-sufficient. It needed a lot of aviation fuel which meant be loss in terms of profit.
2. They only produced maybe twelve or thirteen of them overall. By 2003, a little over half were still flying *and there's also the crashed one too*
3. Following 9/11, there was a great fear that "terrorists" might target Concorde flights, which ended up causing a decline in passenger sales.
4. By 2003, the fleets of existing Concordes were already pushing the 23 year old marker. The fleets were outdated and it would've cost an arm and a leg to overhaul ever last one of them.
So yeah, it's a bit sad to think about, but it was for the best.
