You know that Species Swap meme thing?
Felt like drawing a few. Some were used by combining Kompy with Tanuki (as well as Speed the python for the Nue).
Specific ones used:
a general aquatic species: Guitar Shark
a canine: Bull Terrier
a feliform carnivore (excluding felines): Meerkat
a microoganism: Xerophile (and NOT a frying pan with eggs as I apparently drew. Grr.)
a mythical species: Nue
a primate: Golden Lion Tamarin
an ungulate: Boar

Well the Japan part makes sense since...it's Japanese.
Ok fine, I give. I first heard of this creature...I believe from Shin Megami Tensei 3:Nocturne, then I did my research on the actual creature and it was from old ancient art (plus my own personal tweaks) that I got this version.
