Here's a little something I've been working together with  adamios He really likes Toulia, my gryphon character and he brought up the idea of a story/art trade. I did the story while Adamios did the art. There is two pieces of art so the story is split into two parts. I hope you enjoy the art and the story.

Toulia grabbed the valve handle and slowly turned it. A quiet hiss came from the regulator as a small volume of helium flowed through the hose and into her body. "Wow this feel strange. I can feel myself getting even lighter and slightly bigger, but it doesn't hurt at all. Kinda like a fully body massage or something." She stepped back while Adamios opened the valve further, the hiss from the regulator growing louder.

Toulia stood and stared at her hands and then began feeling her breasts and stomach as they began to grow. After a few minutes of slowly inflating she said, "This is so weird and so cool at the same time. I feel like I can almost lift off." Toulia jumped into the air and found to her delight that she was indeed becoming more and more buoyant as she slowly sank back down to the ground.

Toulia laughed and said, "That was so much fun. My body is starting to bulge a bit but I can still move around like normal." Toulia took her body through its normal range of motion as she continued to inflate. As she finished she finally lifted off the ground.

"Wheee," Toulia yelled in a playful voice, holding her arms out as if she had wings. As she continued to inflate she climbed higher and higher as her inflating body was able to lift more hose and rope off the ground. The weight of the hose hanging from her belly kept her pointed towards the ground face first, but Toulia was able change position by swinging her arms and legs, chirping cheerfully the whole time.

Toulia felt a tug on her tummy and tail as she reached the limit of both, about a hundred feet off the ground. She waved at Adamios on the ground below and he waved back with his large anteater hands. “HOW MANY FINGERS AM I HOLDING UP?” he yelled sarcastically while holding out three claws on his hand.

“I’LL HAVE TO BE A LOT HIGHER IN ORDER TO HAVE A PROBLEM ANSWERING THAT.” Toulia replied back.

Toulia felt her head and noted that her body was now about two to three times as large as normal, while her head was staying the same size. She laughed at the thought of how silly she looked with the large body and small head.

Toulia flailed around playfully some more, not noticing that Adamios had increased the flow of helium. Her body was growing larger and rounder. She was losing the ability to move her arms and legs as her body became larger and larger and more and more round. Toulia finally noticed this when she tried to touch her head again. Suddenly, seriously concerned, she looked down at Adamios and yelled to him, "Um, Adam. You should probably turn the helium off now." but Adamios just looked at her. It was as if he didn't hear her. Her bikini, which had held up remarkably well thus far, finally reached its limit and the top and bottom burst within seconds of each other.

Toulia yelled at Adamios to turn the helium off and tried getting his attention by waving her arms and legs, but by this point they were little more than round bumps on her now round body. With a *Pomp* sound her tail suddenly inflated just like her arms and legs had, the rope still securing her to the ground. Toulia felt herself continuing to increase in size, unable to move anything other than her fingers, toes, and ears.

Toulia continued yelling at Adamios, trying to get his attention. She wasn't in any pain, actually it felt kind of good as the inflation continued, but she was distressed at being unable to move and the rumbling and groaning sounds she heard her body was making. She could feel the helium tank and could tell that Adamios had his hand on the valve, why wasn't he turning it off?

Toulia was now more-or-less a large round pink and white ball. The groaning and rumbling her body was making was growing louder and more frequent. She wondered what Adamios was doing that he wasn't turning off the Helium. Suddenly with a loud *pook* *pook* *pook* *pook* the sides of her face and her ears inflated into their own round spheres.

Toulia's continued efforts to move just made her body bounce and jiggle. The rumbling she felt in her body now effectively constant. She became overwhelmed with a thought that she was about to burst as her eyes began to bulge in their sockets. Just how big was she going to get? She was as big as a house at this point. What was going to happen to her? Could she pop? With her body emitting one last rumble and groan she heard a *Paff* and a whoosh coming from her. Confused and disoriented she felt the helium rushing from her before passing out.

Toulia awoke felling heavy and on her back. Something was tapping her beak. Opening her eyes she saw Adamios upside-down, a huge grin on his tiny mouth, poking her beak with his long anteater lounge. Retracing his tongue back into his mouth, Adamose said, "Ah, you're awake. How's my little Montgolfier feeling?"

Toulia squawked weakly, "OK I guess, I feel really heavy for some reason." Toulia was furious at Adamios, but was still very disoriented and not feeling like slapping him quite yet. "What the hell were you doing, Adam? Why did you let me get so big? What happened to me? Did I pop?"

"Whoa Whoa now, calm down." reassured Adamios, “Yes you did pop. That was part of the plan."

"Plan? Why would you do something like that to me? I was the size......" Interrupted Toulia.

"Hold on, now, let me explain." said Adamios, gently holding Toulia's beak closed with his giant hand. "I know I didn't tell you, but the first time you use the amulet you need to.....for lack of a better way to explain it, blow yourself up as big as you can and pop. That way the amulet knows how you inflate. The next time you do this you'll be able to move your arms and legs for quite a bit longer before you expand out like you did."

Once Adamios had let go of her beak, Toulia continued with the questions, "But I popped, didn't I? Couldn't I have gotten hurt?"

"Nope," reassured Adamios, "Remember that I said that you couldn't hurt yourself with this amulet. That sort of stuff happens with back alley amulets, not this one. Once you popped you just fluttered gently to the ground and then the amulet put you back to normal. Once the Amulet stopped glowing I took the liberty to take it and the bellybutton fitting off you and covered you with the blanket."

"And how long were you poking me with that tounge of yours?" inquired Toulia

"Eh, I got bored waiting for you to wake up. Probably about 10 minutes or so." Shrugged Adamios, "You kept moving your beak around, it was good target practice." Adamios's small anteater mouth grinned playfully.

"Well you could have told me about all this before we started." scolded Toulia, the feeling of heaviness rapidly leaving her.

"Well would you have gone along with this if I had told you all this before?" asked Adamios.

"Well," stammered Toulia, "I guess not."

"And was this first time really that bad?" Continued Adamios.

"No, not really." conceded Toulia, "It didn't hurt at all. It was just uncomfortable when I started to get really big and couldn't move."

"See, it all worked out," smiled Adamios. "Now let’s get you dressed and get everything packed up." Adamios gave Toulia a quick smooch on her beak, then quickly squeezed her breasts through the blanket with his hand and started running towards the cars.

"HEY.......ADAM!!! You get your fuzzy badger butt back here." yelled Toulia, getting up and chasing after him while covering herself with the blanket.

"Hey now, I'm MUCH cutter than a badger. Besides, you love it and you know it,” laughed Adamios as Toulia chased him around the cars.

Toulia eventually caught up to Adamios and dragged him to a stop. Still covering herself with the blanket, Toulia playfully bopped Adamios upside the head and then said, "So, I suppose we need to get a basket for you to ride in next time we try this. Got an idea how to rig something like that up."

"Oh I have some ideas," smirked Adamios. "and it's something you should actually find comfortable as well as giving you a good view."

"Sounds great," said Toulia, gently nuzzling Adamios with her beak, "Now go start packing up while I get some clothes on."

"Sure thing," replied Adamios, giving Toulia a quick kiss before heading back to pack things up. This Amulet was going to be a lot of fun.
