I got a lot of excellent feedback from my previous two submissions that convinced me to change my cat's muzzle a little.
1. How it looked before
2. The muzzle fur pieces removed
3. I deepened the cleft and poofed out the lip a little
4. The old fur pieces sloppily pinned to the new foamwork
I listened to everyone's feedback on the eyes and nose issue, and I've almost got it all resolved. I'm going to make new eyes with an in between sized pupil, but I'm going to use something other than this buckram to see out of. It looks awesome, but visibility is a little tough, especially in low light. The nose in the picture here is a DVC nose, and it looks a lot less tiny on the new muzzle. I have the materials to sculpt a new, larger nose, buuuuut I may not have to! What do you think?
A few people suggested I narrow the lower jaw. I really, really, really don't want to. I hand stitched some piping in between the fleece and the fur and it looks so good hurghh ;_; I am flip flopping between my perfectionist and lazy halves. Though I think the poofed out lip balances things out a little. I really should have gotten more feedback before I glued the fur down, heheh.
tl;dr changed the foamwork, eyes and nose are placeholders and the first things I grabbed off my desk so don't judge them too harshly. Constructive criticism, por favor, before I do any more gluing!

Sorry, it was late. Elaborating further:
I've seen a couple of really phenomenally OMFG damn good suit designs basically ruined because the maker lacked confidence and put it up for popular vote.
Picture if you put all the suits out there in a blender and came up with The Most Average Suit Design. Average-sized and -shaped eyes, average-sized and -shaped ears, and so forth. What basically happens, when you run design by committee, and taking random input on equal footing from people who may or may not themselves understand the essence of caricature, is that everything gets pushed toward those averages...while the very thing that made the original design distinctive was its deviation from those averages. An stand-out character design becomes diluted and banal. And that's a damn shame.
Maybe I'm wrong. Maybe sometimes a design is just off. Still, I'd rather wreck that train with gusto than be the limp noodle.

Is your fabric store offering any Black Friday things? Might want to venture out to get some savings then to finish off the gato. All you have to do is fight though a few old ladies. My friend went to Joanns last year for a cheap dress form & supplies & said it was totally worth it & not hectic like other places.
As for the neko the cheeks definitely fit with the toony vibe & make it work better. I like the mouth. I like that you're going with a in between eyes size because if you go with the big eyes the eyes are so close to the ears that will make the ears look really tiny & out of place.
