This beast of a machine under went it's first successful test in August of 0031 AC (31 After Contact / 2106 AD).

it was deployed later that year for the use of numerous teams in hopes that it could help with the reconstruction of the Akkadi home planet, Advena, after an inter-planetary war between it and it's neighboring planet, Medaska.

designed to harvest the cores of super-stars as fuel, the E-7 ultimately saved the Akkadi from extinction by supplying the then scarce fuel source needed.

Shawn Oden, an Akkadi war hero and single father, gave his life by flying his E-7 into the core of an imperial E-13 Hellfire (Medaska's most high tech war-machine in history) to save the second holocaust of Advena well after the war. years later, his son, Tyler Oden, took command of one of Coyote Team's remaining E-7 ships under command of Jacob Kotchkey, Shawn's former wing-man. Afterwards, he led a relatively calm life until word got out that his father may have survived, setting out along side Jacob's son, Alex, in search of him, later finding reminents of Shawn's E-7 on a distant planet. (totaly not ripped from WWI/WWII/Star Fox or anything...)
