Did Taekwondo myself, grew tired of the idea of performing set moves and wearing a restrictive uniform. Would rather prefer to learn Muay Thai, Boxing, Krav Maga, Systema and various other modern fighting systems that are actually practical on the street and in the jungle, with plenty of emphasis on physical conditioning.
Being taught to fight with a knife or club would have also been good.
