I participated in the Beta for that game and man...what is coming is something beautiful to be sure. Anyway I wanted to draw what they look like in that game. don't think there is anything in their non disclosure agreement that would object to fan art. he may be naked but hes a lizard and there's nothing really showing so i don't know if this is mature or not...I don't think it is but if there are objections ill change the rating.
enjoy :)

They aren't going to be doing anything about me saying I participated in the beta. I just can't share any of the games assets such as screenshots, video, or audio. but aesthetic representation? that's another story.
And not everyone knows what TESO stands for, yes, but if he would just do a simple search, he could find out.
It's not rocket surgery.

I'll construct a statue in your honor, for my arrogance in asking you a question because I didn't see your tags in my tiny window, and Tesco was the first thing that popped up in my companies search engine.
I sure hope you hide these comments so that no one will try to shame me further!

The official Facebook page is apparently filled with people saying they participated in the beta. As far as I know Bethesda is not going to do anything to them.
The only time it's considered not okay to say that you've play tested for a game is when you do it in a non-public setting, such as for a job pre-alpha stage. When it's widely known that the public is getting access to a closed beta, it's fine to simply mention that you were a part of that, as long as you don't spoil any of the content or discuss your opinions on the specific gameplay, mission structure, etc.
Even if this Argonian is from the beta, the character designs are public knowledge now.

I find it funny that everyone is going "Ohhh you aren't suppose to say you participated" You should see TESO's FB page... alot of people mentioned getting the invites...playing this weekend..but not disclosing information. No worries Jardie...being a GM in the past for several Beta games...You are fine no information was disclosed...so ignore the jealous ones
Exactly what I was saying. :)
I've been an actual beta tester for unreleased and even unannounced games. There's a huge difference between spoiling material and publicly giving opinions of the gameplay and world structure, and just drawing some fan art related to character design that is already available for the public to see freely.

To all the people saying his violated NDA for the beta: I don't think he's depicting anything spoiler-worthy by drawing an Argonian here. Everyone can see what the characters look like because they recently released a teaser for the character creator for everyone to see, which included examples of what Argonians are going to look like. Simply saying that he was part of a beta that is available to for public consumption is not the same as spoiling the content of said beta, which might include but is not limited to sharing actual screen shots and footage, or publicly discussing missions and specific impressions.
