I just got back from a week vacation last day and I had one of the best week of my life ^^ It's been awesome meeting other furs & the swim fur-meet we had. Sorry for those who noted/emailed me If I haven't replied yet. I'll try to get back to you soon.
Anyways, Got the Cintiq 13HD today & I'm loving every bit of it.
This is the first piece I made on this tablet, so far It really feels the same as the Intuos 4 or 5 tablet the only difference there's a screen. If you're used to using graphics tablet like Intuos 4 or 5 there's isn't much a difference. But It definitely boost your work about 20%-50% faster and It really feels more natural like drawing on a sketchbook(but on a glass surface). This is an amazing investment & its worth every penny. I really recommend this if you're doing art daily because it will boost your workflow & It really feels good to draw on. :D
Oh and a big thanks to
malfurim for getting me the tablet, It would have take me forever to save up to get the tablet in time. Also thank you for 
sYnister for buying it from Australia & bringing it to me (It is freaking more expensive here in the Philippines. not to mention the Import taxes & shipping @_@).

Great action on this piece. It flows nicely. I was just showing my mate that tablet yesterday. We may be able to get a used one around tax time but I was unsure if it was worth the investment. I've tried using a "standard" tablet that my friends have owned and it always seems like too much of a disconnect for me to not look directly at the surface I'm drawing on. I was thinking maybe the cintiq would fix that disconnected feeling. Is it still doing well for you now that you've had it awhile? I heard some people had issues with the connector end on the tablet getting bumped easily and momentarily disconnecting.

Well as far as I can say, It's worth every penny for an investment for me, It really helped me boost my art speed by 20%-50%. For the "standard" tablet I've been using it for about 3 years and it never let me down specially when i got the intuos. But honestly if you're really used on using a standard tablet, there's not much a difference, But drawing directly on screen and knowing where to put your pen tip is a big plus and really fun to draw. I can't say it will improve your drawing skill but I guess the speed & accuracy when drawing is really really a good thing ^^ but that is just my opinion maybe it really depends on the artist :)
Also the color quality is amazing from the monitor i used before.About the connector issues, I feel that its weak but I never had any problems with it even if i move it around my tablet & my lap, it never got disconnected. I guess it really depends how you use the tablet.
