Species: Himalayan cat
Gender: Male

Matthew is a very smart young cub who, despite only being five, is already in first grade after his parents and teachers decided he wasn't being challenged enough in kindergarten. He learns things fairly quickly, but because of this loses interest and motivation if he doesn't pick up on a new skill right away, and finds himself struggling with some of the things his peers can already do with ease (such as tie his shoes or ride a bicycle).

He is very shy by nature, partially due to a bladder problem he has as a result of his small size, which causes him to need to go more often than most cubs his age and makes him more prone to accidents. He still wears pull-ups (or occasionally diapers) for protection, and although he doesn't mind them he dreads being teased or embarrassed more than anything. Because of this, he also has a lot of trouble making friends with cubs his age, who tend to not have enough patience to allow him to warm to them, and prefers the company of older cubs and adults instead.

Likes: Reading, drawing, dancing, board/card games.
Dislikes: Hot weather, cheese, loud noises, foods that get stuck in his teeth.
