it's CC's 'sona to be a bit of a hunter knock-off
but i do really like his writing style! i feel it's more conducive to different subject matter than, say, tom wolfe. wolfe's style feels forced and tacked on when it comes to some things (like the electric kool-aid acid test) but genuine and suited to others (like the right stuff). hunter can cover politics, his own insane vacation or the hell's angels and his tone is still appropriate to the work.
