Just something doodly I did earlier. Basically I had mentioned at my Tumblr that I was striving to make Darwin appear more gender neutral... since they are a genderless alien and all so I touch up their outfit a bit.

-I made the claws on their feet besides those on their opposable toes more streamline, now they follow the shape of the foot instead of stick out like those of Darwin’s hands. Their feet are hard to draw so I figured I would simplify part of it.
-They still have that gold collar that doesn’t come off. On that note…
-I redid their labcoat design not only to be easier to draw/balanced but also to appear more similar to the shirts other Ginaga have been seen wearing up to now. It makes more sense this way. Furthermore it also makes more sense they would want to hide the aforementioned collar (which also made Darwin more annoying to draw) due to what it represents.
-They no longer have a blue undershirt. Further logical thinking on my part is Ginaga breath through their skin so less layers of clothing they have=the better therefore likely their species wouldn’t wear undershirts if they could avoid it.
-Darwin now has a golden star shaped hair clip. How cute!
-Minor point is I actually upped the saturation of the gold areas (unseen collar, pant zippers and the new hair clip). Things blend less now.
-Last minor point I’m going to try desperately to get out of my french habit of referring to gender neutral individuals as “him”. Not only will this apply to Darwin but also to any Ginaga, Shlen, Grey and Rosaital character.
