Please check the true facts about this...the posting is actually quite old, and the law has been in effect for a while. There are major errors and misunderstandings in the listings you've cited. You are in no danger of losing your art, no do you lose the right to sue for copyright infringement. Registration is NOT required, nor are there any plans to create private registration services. Look at  rhari listing to links to the actual law and its impact on artists.

Thank you for telling me, I've seen lots of journals on DA, here, and a few posts on Subeta and it got me worried enough to research it. Clearly I didn't research it well enough. Thank you a lot for telling me :) Now I can stop freaking out :P

No problem. Always good to know the true facts involved. I'm not sure who started the original panic over on DA, but they obviously took off half-cocked on the subject and the story just snowballed from there. :)
