So I made thanksgiving dinner for everyone Sunday night. It will probly be the only time i was able to get my grandmother, my grandfather, Grandma Donna (his wife), mom, and myself at the same table to enjoy a meal that I cooked. So in honor of mom's move, Donna's birthday, and thanksgiving I made this
It's the same stroganoff as before. But this time I marinated the meat for two days. and used a cup of hallowine spliced with a red (because like hell is one of my precious bottles of hallowine going into a dish). http://www.grapeshopsandstops.com/i.....ect-fall-wine/
The vegetables were simple the carrots were off the top of my head. i boiled some baby carrots and then when they were tender threw them in a skillet with butter and glazed them with red wine and brown sugar.
My asparagus is another one of my recipes.
All I do is break the ends off the asparagus then put them in a bowl I douse them lightly in olive oil, and then sprinkle salt, a little garlic, and pepper over them. I then toss them in a skillet and sear them. I rotate them a little so that they burn just a little on both sides.
That pine apple was one we stole from a neighbors yard. apparently if you plant the tops they grow into pine apple trees.
