so I've always wanted to try combining painting and pixeling, and while I'm not too sure about this first one, I think I'll start loving it once I get a process down

This is gorgeous!
It reminds me not of minecraft (which has far less detail and doesn't give me the same serene feeling this does) but rather of a game called swords and sorcery. You might wanna check the game out and see what I mean if you've not heard of it yet.

I absolutely love the detail you can convey with mere pixels, it's astounding! Keep on experimenting.
