hmm thats a tough question to answer...I think anything from a plane crashing into the servers (too soon?) to some drama filled journal/pic comment storms overwhelming the site

I think the categories should be: Admin fail, Host fail, Invasion/Hack, and Pure Fail.

Pure fail is the catchall, typically for abnormal situations that might be put under Act of God. Obviously, this would be a very rare category. I think the most likely would be host fail or invasion.

Unfortunately we can't always know the information, or when the site will be down, so this is going to be tricky business. I guess we could do a "next time the server suddenly goes down, it will be because of X" thing.

Scheduled maintenance is exempt.

Heh, I completely missed this "downtime" you speak of. One of the perks of being mostly a night owl. But wow, how long did it take you to draw that?

Yeah, it was down for most of the day with no explanation. The main server lost power, or somesuch. It was like as soon as I woke up in the morning (7 or 8) until maybe 3, when I went to work. I was sad. ;__;

This isn't a very good drawing, could use a ton of refinement. It took 2 hours, but I had dinner in the middle of it. So maybe 1 or 1.5 hours.

This is smile-inducing. Dickery is like a breath of fresh air at times...

Joan's the better troll. Her dickery is great to watch because the targets have an extremely poor sense of humor and perspective. She tends to find the most flammable people, for unknown reasons.

It's a serious threat to public welfare to leave flammable substances out in plain sight. It is therefore a responsibility of any citizen to come across such a substance(e.g. a firecracker box, an oil barrel, overtly sensative person) to set it ablaze. And in no way it is an act of arson - merely preventing the uncontrollable combustion waiting to happen by transitioning it into a form of a controllable(and laughable) merry bonfire =^_^=
