Personal work.
At the time that I write this, it it Thanksgiving here in the US. My husband is currently working (Nothing to do with 'greedy coperations'... he's a bilingual sales rep who mostly deals with clients from Quebec, who do not have a holiday today, so he has to be there). So to kill time until he gets here and we have dinner, I decided to sit down and get some personal work done because I don't know how much time I will have to do so after the 'holiday crunch' starts.
A while back, I asked which of my yet-unrevealed characters of mine you'd like to know more about based on profession. Since I completed the first choice in the poll already, I decided to draw the second on the list, which was "Alien Archaeologist".
Meet Jeral, the makuni archaeologist who mostly specializes in cultures of alien races who went extinct before discovering space travel.
He spends most of his time at dig sites and speaking in museums... but he does have an adventurous side that is based on the pulp film serials of the 1930s (soooo... basically an alien version of Indiana Jones, as the Indy movies were based off of the same source material).
Here is is taking a lost alien relic, Most likely from his rival. I have no clue who his rival is, but all adventuring archaeologist characters seem to have them...
More on him later when I can actually get around to creating his character sheet.
More info on his species (Makuni/Ferntails) can be found here:
