So this is a look at one of my current babies, the Kjurii, also known as "siren birds". While most of the species is fairly unassuming, a subspecies possesses the ability to use their hip-wings to display hypnotizing patterns that have a sort of "charm person" effect. They're very friendly, and they genuinely mean well, but they have trouble understanding why brainwashing everyone you run into might be "bad".

Technically this is the "stylized" version of the species; I've also depicted them as far more conventionally humanoid.
