El Toro is a semi-famous landmark here in Morgan Hill CA. The hillside visible from anywhere in town. April 5, was the historical society's annual "Lets go climb it." So, there I was, 1000' above the city, and saw this.
My usual HDR work is more "Realistic" than the "Tone Compression Salsa" that is often overused in photography. However, this time I gave it a shot and I am -very- pleased with the results.
Media: Nikon D70, 3 exposures (metered, +2 and -2 stops), Photomatix/Photoshop for compositing and tone compression.
"Oh look, I can see my house from here."
