hmmm yeah you did mention selective breeding up top there but still, this is on par with designer breeds i think. Very cool

Yeah, unfortunately, there are people that do this for fur, however, the breeder wants to breed foxes for pets. I hate the fur industry and glad he has a loving home

when it comes to fur for fashion i'm for it if the ENTIRE animal is used and they aren't just being killed for the pelt and the animal is not harvested as a pup and the means of harvesting is as humane as possible (hence my support of the seal hunt). Most fur farms are nowhere near respectful of this kind of policy and waste most of the animal. I figure if you're going to take an animals life pay it the respect of not wasting it.

But yeah, i'm very glad this cute little guy is going to a good home. He looks far too smart (and like he's got a lot of humor in him) to go down that road.

Oh sorry! He's there to stay, he's too old to be re-homed (buying a fox that's too "old" makes it hard on the owner and fox); kits are bought when they're about four to six weeks old so the bonding process is more efficacious. But yes, a lot of the times, the animal is used for fur and nothing else. Let's just say it's a topic I find, uh, hard to discuss (not your fault, just in general)

sounds like a pet a friend of mine had in high school. Believe it or not he had trained a goat like a dog.

Oh for sure, Animals know who they can trust and those who cannot be trusted. I don't know how, but they sense that in us and I've been very fortunate that I get to interact with such unique animals. It...man to be loved by an animal makes this 28 year-old dude's heart melt And it's awesome you have a bond, they really make life easier to endure
