Here's page 1 of a 14 page comic for Sofawolf's Heat, Vol. 5!
It's a prequel to the online comic, the summer before, when Bayshore and Diego were first getting to know one another.
WILL BLOTCH RESIST THE URGE TO USE THE LENSE FLARE FILTER?
FIND OUT, this JUNE!

That looks badass. Nice comics project.
A little nitpick, from the French/Belgian school of comic-strips: texts in bubbles need more regularity, texts are too much "squeezed" in one of the bubbles: size of letters must be regular, and spaces between letters, words and lines must be regular. Go to dafont.com, dowload text styles, and you can make good computer-made bubbles.
But it's just me.

"You wouldn't be running off for the weekend if he wasn't something special."
Hmm, considering how in Dog's Days he hounds after the black cat and tiger in the same 10 minutes, and then Bayshore comes over... I seriously doubt Diego isn't enough of a slut to go off for a weekend with some random guy he just met.
But oh, the sexings!

Well, as I said in the description, this is a separate comic for the publication HEAT, which is in black and white. It is a prequel to when Diego and Bayshore were first getting to know one another.
The regular Dog's Days comic is being published, in color, and in its entirety (including the second half that is not online) also this June, including all the concept art.

oh wow, this is impressive. without sounding rude, i have to mention MUCH better than dog's days of summer, the composition of a comic page is really developing here, much easier to read, better flow from panel to panel, etc. Though dog's days is getting better, this is a much bigger jump in the direction of good composition. looking forward to seeing the rest of it.
I rarely ever comment on anyones work because my words would most likely get lost in a sea very similar comments. But, after seeing these teaser pages, I've just gotta express how incredible your artwork is.
I love the fine detail you guys have put into this, and how consistent it is throughout the piece. Also, it looks like you've used different shading/highlighting techniques... am I right? Theres just something about the lighting that breaths so much life into the comic. The way that the expressions and everything else comes together makes my mind keep expecting the characters to start moving on my computer screen. It looks and feels like a Pixar movie... except sexier!
Simply breathtaking...
