The Arsenal (Updated and Complete)
Submitting this for the
nrafurs 'Show off your arsenal' journal. (http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/5065994/)
The background check for my revolver passed just fine after waiting a lot longer than I wanted, so it's officially part of my set now. Here's everything all assembled.
Shown on the left side, from top to bottom:
-Taser C2
-Beretta Tomcat 3032 INOX (.32cal)
-Beretta 92FS INOX (9mm)
-Smith And Wesson R8 Revolver (.357Magnum)
Shown in the center, from bottom to top:
-Gamo Whisper air rifle (.177cal, which has proven very effective at killing squirrels attempting to destroy the bird feeders behind the house)
-Smith and Wesson M&P 15-22 (.22LR)
-Ruger 10/22 Takedown (.22LR)
-Smith and Wesson M&P 15 Sport (NATO 5.56/.223Rem)
-H&R Ultra Slughunter Deluxe, laminated thumb-hole stock (12-gauge rifled barrel)
-Kel-tec KSG (12-gauge cylinder choke)
I might be getting an FMK 9mm from my dad, since both of us are Front Sight Lifetime Diamond members and he purchased two of their custom engraved firearms from FMK. But that'll be in the future.
Submitted this to scraps because all the weapons are stock, with just a few accessories on some of them.

Targeting zombies usually means targeting the heads. And it usually means needing to carry/stockpile ammunition in large quantities not only in advance, but also which is readily available in the midst of a crisis.
That does not count high powered rifle ammnition.
The preferred zombie ammunition is .22LR.
It's readily available, light-weight, can be carried in large amounts without a lot of bulk, can penetrate a skull without over-penetration (very useful if there are living humans in the midst of a horde), and there are a large number of firearms that can use it.
