Having just checked out Siren's morphological idiosyncrasies, I can conclude that your assessment of that character's coolness was by no means off the mark. A multicoloured patchwork pattern, the butterfly-wing ears reinforced by hardened spines, sharp protective quills, an amphibious fin-ridge, rare teal soap-shaded eyes - all those give credit to the god responsible for this beast's creation. Plus, anything that even remotely resembles Gorath is automatically a welcome addition to the universal fictional bestiaries. A respectable rendition of this character is what can be seen here.
The ear piercings in this picture look like missiles primed for a launch from their slouching organic base installation; Siren's expression and general pose corroborates this interpretation. Using pastels for a disco setting is a bold move, but the leaden haze that the background gradually drowns towards the lower border makes it work. The dimmed source of orange light at the opposite end of the piece suggests some sort of foggy smokey environment.

OMG!!!! im totally not worthy for this. its so AWESOME!!! the colours of course like, fuck yeah. i like the strobed disco bg n lights lolz he got dat fever baby hmmm i really really like how you drew siren... his teeth and the way you drew his eyes is stylized so nicely, n the little claws smoothed into his fingers looks so goodn his ears just looks totally bad ass fuckin nailed it. like really. what else can i say about this without just throwing myself on to the floor for you, sobbing in a puddle of my own mess inbetween dribbling whispered whines of joy and gratitude. I LOVE EET. I MISS YOU. LIKE, FUCKIN TITTY CRUSHING MY SOUL HERE MISS YOU.
