Someone reminded me that I used to be a writer and tossed this one back at me a little while ago, and well...I had to do something. The story can be found here -

But be advised...it's silly. Going to try and redo it as a standalone comic to get people into the characters and such, so the extreme AR will be trimmed back some, but huzzah! Poster! :D

Hey, it's a better poster than half the crap out there right now. :p
Also, you said "huzzah," so I must post this link.

Only one visible diaper? Sacrilege!
Er, anyway. The way you've got the heroes' adult forms drawn as afterimages makes me wonder if a character would not only lose their years during an age regression, but the memories and experiences that came with them. Everything that made that person who they were would be wiped out of existence... it would essentially be a death, or something close to it. It's a morbid line of thought, I know, but when I see a picture like this, I can't help but think of all the possibilities of age regression... and not just the positive ones.

Skimming over it, I think I've actually seen this story before, but I only read bits and pieces. I spent more time with it today, but think that it would benefit from the abridging necessary to adapt it to a comic. Also, I don't think we're quite on the same wavelength regarding age regression, since yours was (SPOILER) ultimately reversible.
Hopefully the AR won't get scaled back too much the ages they end up are terribly cute. I go back and reread Little Troubles now and again, I love the characters and interactions. Their adaptations to their new forms are adorable. The ending, I'll admit, made me tear up the first time..second time..third time..well..it just makes me tear up.
That was not meant as a bad thing! I found it to be very touching.
So as to avoid spoilers, I will just say for at least one of them having to grow back up was not fully the happiest of things.
I've read it enough that it popped out to me in the picture that Kip's shirt untucks and he's not nearly as chunky as I imagined he would be. Is that what you meant be toning down the regression? They're older in the picture than in the story.
Regardless I really look forward to the comic. You're to be complimented on both your drawing and writing skills. Three cheers for the crinkly radar fox.
