Lots of hand cramping and foam flying everywhere! lol I use cheaper scissors, one of my pairs is probably dull by now but that's okay c: I just do larger snips and then go back over it with tiny finer snips until it's all smooth X3 The foam I use is also easier to cut than the green foam most people use. I really like this foam, it's lighter and more breathable! c:
It definitely is tricky, especially figuring out what shape looks best and such X3 Plus keeping it as symmetrical as possible is tricky as well, so I usually will take moments between trimming to look at the head and give it a good stare down and compare the two sides to make sure they're as even as possible haha
